  Hi friends,

 When I started my first blog ' dehpatilbestwords ' , I had no idea about blogging ! The only thing I knew was that the blog is a place where one can express himself or herself online and I had a strong desire to express  ! That was my bonding with blogging. My blogging is also a travelling in itself, as I have 09 blogs today.  I tried to publish a quarterly offline magazine in my city Ratnagiri ,  but didn't carry it beyond four quarters.  I had to stop print media , but blogging continued . That is why it is possible to tell my travelling story about different parts of life . I have decided to share my life's travelling story with you friends on this blog.

My name is Devidas Harishchandra Patil .


I am a Commerce Graduate of Mumbai University .

I am a blogger and blogging since 2007 . In fact, I love blogging . I want to write moe and more , on different subjects appealing to masses and classes . I am not going to pretend anythig as I don’t like to , but I remain well balanced as I know my limitations . I like reading and making healthy relations through my writings. I am a straightforward person but I also value the others' opinions .

Childhood travelling

    Started living in Jakimirya When I was a child... In the last post , as you remember, I travelled from Vengurla to Ratnagiri. We were living in a village named Jakimirya. Jakimirya is still my homeland. It is 3 km away from the Ratnagiri Bus Station and the the Rahataghar bus station. Of course, the city bus was not started in Jakimirya, when I came here. Here I played as an infant. Those were really the amazing days, pre-school days. It was a real childhood. It was from 1960 to 1966. In 1967 I was admitted in primary school in Jakimirya. Before that, from 1965 onwards my parents and grandmother took me many times to City and back. It was nice travel on bullock cart or on foot . I enjoyed it in those pre-city bus period.       My childhood travel Even during the primary school , we travelled many times to the city. The city is fifteen minutes away from our village.
