                When you have to change your home town and travel to a new place far away, you need a flat to reside ! Your travelling for the search of a flat starts there ! When you want a flat , you can purchase it or you can take in on rent , as per your needs, budgte and the availability of the flats. Here suppose we are traveling to find a flat on rent ! When you search for a flat on rent , you must have to do few inquiries . These inquiries are of two types :

                1. The Initial Inquiry i.e. inquiry before purchasing a flat on rent and

                2. 'After purchasing a flat on rent ' inquiry.

   INITIAL INQUIRY :

              Initial inquiry is made before the purchasing of a flat on rent. If you are totally new to the area , you should try to find if anybody from your area is staying in the new area . You should also inquire with the friends’ friends. You should also make inquiries when you actually go into the new area with the local people. There are agents or brokers . There are groups on social media like facebook. There are advertisements from the flat owners or the brokers. This initial inquiry relates to many basic things regarding a flat on rent. This initial inquiry depends on few important things. First of all , the REASON or the reasons for the rented flat is very important . The reason means the purpose for which you are searching a flat on rent. This purpose determines your requirements those you want in a flat and around a flat. Requirements means the facilities and amenities those you need .  These flats are divided into three major types : furnished , semi furnished and unfurnished . You can choose as per your requirements and the budget. Budget is very important and comes at every level when you think to purchase a flat on rent and stay in it . In fact, you must have a thorough insight into this inquiry. You have to make balance between what you have and what you can afford to have more. You have to consider many things, few are as follows :

1.The Area or the locality :

                        It is also the top most important aspect of purchasing a flat on rent.  In fact, it is the first thing which comes into your sight. You see the area and relates quickly to the picture in your mind. You see the locality around and take a decision to stay there or not to stay there . It is like a love at first sight . You have to stay in that locality , deal with the other people living there . It must suit to you and you must suit to it. You have to inquire about the public transport system in case you have no vehicle of your own. This is the area or the locality !

 2. The people who will come into regular contacts :

 With the roads, stones, soil , buildings ,  the people are also most important part. Particularly the people who will come into your regular contact, are at most important . First of all is your flat owner from whom you are going to purchase the flat on rent .  The other people are particularly whose services you are likely to take , e.g. cooking gas, water suppliers, laundryman , grossary shops, bankers, rikshawalas, cabs like ola, newspapers etc. You have to maintain good personal relations with these people. They are the persons who will help and guide you through the local problems. There are some daily problems which have to be solved quickly.

3. The flat itself :

   This is your world . You have a picture in your mind. Where is the flat , how is the flat looking, what it has in it etc. are the questions which come into your mind quickly. If you are alone then you can decide by your own . But if you have a family, then you have to mostly consider the family’s views and needs. If you, your family or both are satisfied , then you can go ahead. The flat becomes more important after you go on staying in it. Many incidents are going to happen in coming years of your life in the flat. So you have to be very very cautious about your flat. You have to inquire about the completion of the legal procedures about the flat like agreement between the flat owner and you, the police verification etc.

4.     The facilities and the amenities :

When you start to stay in a rented flat , you need many things at your hands.  First of all , at the starting they are very important. You have to make an agreement with the flat owner . You must get the proper agreement making agency . You must get police verification . When you enter in the flat , few things you would definitely like to have in the flat already existing like electricity , fans , water , kitchen ota , racks , toilet etc. You must have a kitchen room , bed room and a hall as per your requirements. The market must be near from your flat so that you can easily go and purchase . You have to ensure the cooking gas first otherwise you have to go to hotel for eating. The public transport system should be available at a nearer distance.  You must inquire about the doctors in that ara.

                    This is the story of the initial inquiry. Now let us turn towards the second inquire i.e.  After purchasing a flat on rent inquiry.

2. After purchasing a flat on rent inquiry.

                        1. The legal proceedings :

                           If not done before , then after the payment of deposit you have to do two legal procedures. First one is of course, the agreement . For this you have to inquire about the proper agencies and select one. Generally, the house owner provides this as you are new there. Then comes the police verification . The house owner can help here too. You have to inquire about any other legal process you have to complete as per the local law.

                       2. The Market search :

     When you start to stay in , you need to do a lot of purchases. That is where the market place comes in. Right from the breakfast to the dinner , you want many things in the kitchen. You need kitchen wares, the home appliances , groceries, vegetables, fruits , furniture and equipments , clothes, cleaning items and many more .

     3. The travelling :

                            When you stay in an area , you have to know about the means of transport. You have to go to many places and come back to your flat . You have to know about the availability of transport facilities. You have to adjust to the local timetable . If you have your own vehicle the question does not rise much, but if you don’t have, you must be aware of the types of the local transport vehicles. Even if you have your own vehicle, you may not be able to use it all the times. Sometimes your vehicle may have some problems. In this situation, you have to use the public transport. Hence you have to make thorough inquiry about the travelling .

      4. The miscellaneous inquiry :

                            After you start to stay in a flat, you have to face the daily life problems as you are new in the area. There are instant as well as long term problems. You have to learn to solve them and that is why inquiry becomes inevitable.  If you inquire about the problems at an early stage, it will become easy for you to know about them. Also you have to inquire about the solutions. This will make your day to day life much easier.
